Why do I Practice?

I believe in healing and see it as profoundly beautiful. I am inspired by the unique, meaningful journey we each undertake to become more whole and free.

I believe healing is a personal journey. Often we have painful or challenging (even ancestral) histories or traumatic events that keep us from resting in natural goodness, wellness and joy. I feel gratitude when I see clients alter long-standing patterns, allowing their comfort and ease  to shine through.

How do I Practice?

I have been consciously opening to the depth and intensity of life for the past 40 years and have been gratefully holding the experiences and events of my life as contributions to my personal growth and development  as a healer.

Although I have had many educational experiences and learned many effective therapeutic practices, I believe the most important thing I do in my work is to model a willingness to dive deep, to allow change, and to trust life. If we can do that, the goodness arrives on its own, often in mysterious ways.

What do I do?

The name of my practice “Inherent Health” speaks to my therapeutic philosophy. We will work in partnership to increase the health in your system with the conviction that your body is naturally capable of healing the disease or distress  in your life. My focus is on increasing the potency and resilience of your self-healing ability, facilitating a return to well-being. My practice of osteopathy can be effective regardless of the specific concern which brings you to me.

There are structural, visceral, cranial and biodynamic osteopathic techniques which I can use depending on your specific health and wellbeing challenge.
